Designing Useful Evaluations online workshop

Gwyneth Hughes and Martin Oliver attended the Designing Useful Evaluations online workshop on  7.11.11 run by members of the JISC Assessment and Feedback programme team. As a result of the workshop some possible evaluation questions for the Assessment Careers project are:

Is the AC framework widely understood?

How far has the AC framework been applied across the institution?

What impact has the AC framework had on assessment and feedback?

What is the impact of applying the AC framework on workload for teaching and administrative staff?

Please comment or amend these questions.

Initial Meeting of the Project Team

The JISC Assessment Careers Project Team at the IoE met on Thursday 20th October 2011. Gwyneth Hughes chaired the meeting.

This meeting allowed everyone to meet and briefly discuss the project plan.  Members recognised that a variety of good feedback occurs now but is not always formalised or accessible for future assessors.

The group agreed to set up meeting dates for the year ahead and will meet again on 12th January 2012 to discuss the baseline report. Many of the team will be meeting members of JISC, the funder, at the Institute in December.

Meeting updates will be placed on this site on a regular basis.
